After unveiling[1] the ROG Phone[2] last year in June, Asus is reported to announce its successor - the ROG Phone 2 - next month on 23rd.
This gaming smartphone will be launched at an event in Beijing, China. It's said to come in two variants, with the base model carrying a price tag of CNY4,399 ($635/€570). The Taiwanese phone maker will also promote the phone at ChinaJoy 2019 expo in Shanghai which will kick-off on August 1, showcasing it to around 400,000 eSports players.
Asus ROG Phone
The ROG Phone launched last year came with a 90Hz display, but the ROG Phone 2 will boast a 120Hz screen[3]. Details are scarce about this smartphone right now, but it's safe to say that it will have Snapdragon 855 SoC at the helm which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM. You can also expect it to come with a cooling system and a glowing Asus logo, like its predecessor.
More information about the ROG Phone 2 should follow soon.
