Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 9 Pro[1] and Mi Mix Alpha[2] smartphones yesterday, but alongside that, the company also announced the latest version of its custom Android skin - MIUI 11.
Xiaomi shared a list of 40+ devices which will get MIUI 11, but it didn't include the Pocophone F1[3] - which is called Poco F1[4] in India.
To clear the confusion, Head of Pocophone Global Alvin Tse took to Twitter and revealed that the list shared by Xiaomi only includes the devices sold in China. Pocophone F1 isn't available in China, so it wasn't on it, but it will still get the MIUI 11 update.
MIUI 11 will begin rolling out in China from mid-October and Tse said that global rollout "will be a bit behind but not too far".
