Earlier this month renders[1] of the Moto G8 Plus[2] surfaced, along with some specs. Now Geekbench 5 provides the first tangible evidence of the phone – a result published earlier today.

The phone was powered by a Snapdragon 665 chipset (aka “trinket”). It ran Android 9 Pie and packed 4GB of RAM. This confirms what the rumors claimed.
The Moto G8 Plus is expected to come with a 6.3” 1080p LCD with a notch, a 4,000mAh battery and fast charging. The rear shooting setup will feature a 48MP main sensor, 16MP ultrawide “Action Cam” and a 5MP depth sensor.
Besides the Plus, we’ve seen the Moto G8 Play[3] leak – it should have a similar camera[4] , complete with the 48MP main and ultra wide Action cameras.
There is a vanilla G8 mode between those two and it seems that it will be easy to tell apart as it's the only one with a punch hole[5] selfie cam instead of going the waterdrop route.
