What version of Android are you running? (Poll of the Week)

Android update timelines are always a topic of conversation when a major version of Android is released. Unless you own a Pixel or Essential Phone, major Android updates can be sporadic, varying anywhere from a couple weeks to over a year.

Previously, aside from reading Android Authority (of course), a good way to track Android updates was to consult Google itself. Google’s Android update tracking chart — the Android distribution dashboard — used to reliably receive updates every month. Now, Google only releases updated charts every few months, so we don’t have any hard data as to how many devices are on each version of Android.

To see how many people are running each version of Android, your best bet is to check out our Android 10 and Android 9 update trackers, as well as our yearly article on which OEMs update their phones the fastest. They’re super helpful!

Since Google isn’t keen on telling us how many people are running each Android version, that’s why we’re asking you ourselves. Are you running Android 10? Android 9? Or are you already on the Android 11 Developer Preview? Cast your vote in the poll below!

Note: There is a poll embedded within this post, please visit the site to participate in this post's poll.
